MAYOR’S POLITICAL ADS MISREPRESENT HIS ROLE

The City has already begun meeting with police and fire to discuss 2013-14  contracts. And though we have successfully negotiated contracts for the previous year, the City has only set-up one negotiating session for the coming fiscal period thus far. Some are of the misconception that the union is already in negotiations due to misinformation paid for by the Bartlett campaign.

AFSCME Local 1180 files lawsuit against the City for violations of the Open Records Act.

AFSCME Local 1180, which represents Tulsa’s non-uniformed public service workforce, will be filing a lawsuit against the City for failure to comply with the Oklahoma Open Records Act. As reported in the Tulsa World this morning, “The lawsuit asks for no financial reward other than attorney fees.

AFSCME Local 1180, which represents Tulsa’s non-uniformed public service workforce, will be hosting a press conference on Thursday, June 6, to inform the public of several issues of concern which have been affecting citizens’ ability to access information to which they are entitled.

FY2012-13 Labor & Trades Contract Ratification Vote Results

On April 30,2013 members of the AFSCME Local 1180 Labor & Trades unit approved  the FY2012-13 Tentative Agreement. We have been advised that the stipend payments can be expected on the May 15th payroll. Once the agreement is signed, it will be posted in the contracts section.
